Thousands of years before the Inca, a megalithic civilization was founded at Lake Titicaca that spread 500 miles to Cuzco, and all across the Andes.
Led by the god-man Viracocha and assisted by seven craftspeople called Shining Ones, these unusual people created monuments in stone using techniques no one today is able to replicate. They also built a succession of temples along the river Urubamba to mirror the Milky Way and established a ritual pilgrimage trail that is still used today.
Filmed at Tiwanaku, Puma Punku, Cuzco, Q’uenqo, Saqsayhuaman, Amuru Machay, Quillarumiyoc, Pisac, Tombomachay, Huayna Picchu, Ollantaytambo, Machu Picchu, Cutimbo, Silustani and Amaru Meru, this documentary looks into the cosmic mind of these gods and the riddle they left behind for us to ponder.
