Our ancestors recognized sound and resonance as interlinked expressions from a super-physical consciousness whose vibration became physical and geometric as it descended into our world of matter. And since the world of spirit was deemed perfect, they applied these ideas in the fabric of sonic temples such as Gothic cathedrals, stone circles and pyramids.
And yet these places were not designed to be mere places of veneration: they were alchemical transmutation points of the soul. Inside these temples, the human body was altered, to the point where healing and altered states of consciousness could be achieved. In other words, the temples were made to be interactive.
Over the past 1000 years we have lost much of the understanding of these unique monuments. But lately our interest has resurged, thanks in part to research into the worldwide phenomenon of crop circles, which conceal the same ancient language of the spirit.
Are we being reminded of a long lost art which is in our best interests to re-discover?
In this lecture, we shall take a journey through many of the world’s acoustic hotspots and discover how ancient principles of resonance were implemented to help people achieve mastery over matter, and themselves.
